I am a passionate and Licensed Clinical Social Worker who strives to create a comfortable, confidential, and safe environment for you to journey. I specialize in treating adolescents and young adults, who experience challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, anger/emotional control, relationship, self-esteem, and life transitional difficulties. I help navigate their journey by encouraging self-exploration, teaching healthy coping skills, increasing self-regulation skills, and improving self-esteem for increased happiness and overall wellness.

I have specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is a treatment designed to alleviate emotional distress resulting from disturbing life experiences. I believe each individual’s path to healing and wellness is different, therefore, I remain flexible and utilize a collaborative approach in treatment.

I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in Criminology/Criminal Justice and a master’s degree in Social Work from Florida State University. I have several years of experience providing psychosocial services, risk assessment and crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, bio-psychosocial assessments, discharge planning, care coordination, and mental health and substance abuse treatment. I have experience providing mental health services within day treatment programs (schools) for at-risk youth, providing crisis intervention services for adults and children within psychiatric facilities, and providing outpatient therapy.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, dancing, outdoor activities, meditation, yoga, working out, cooking, experiencing various cultural dishes, and relaxing on the beach.
